Description
This experimental finished single barrel of 12-year WhistlePig Rye was aged for an additional 4 weeks in a lime gin barrel resulting is a sprit that is both funky and wildly awesome at the same time.
This one gives gin forward, botanical notes upfront and finishes with caramel and rye spice notes. A light citrus underpins it all.

This ain’t your grandfather’s WP pick. It’s not a bespoke blend. It’s a one-off experimental finish. Single cask finished 4 weeks in lime gin. As I understand it, the rest of the barrels from this project went to hill farmstead and was used for the Lime Gin Soignee released over the summer.
It’s weird and wonderful! Botanical upfront, sweet caramel and rye spice on the back. Citrus backbone. Far too crushable too. Pairs nicely side by side with the HF LG Soignee too!
