Dear lambic lovers,

I started working as a waiter at Moeder Lambic Original in 2004, on Sundays.

At the end of 2006, I bought the bar after my former boss went bankrupt.

In 2024, to celebrate my 20th anniversary as a Moeder Lambic worker, I've decided to launch a series of tastings in small groups (+/- 12 people), with as many bottles on offer as there are participants.

There will be 6 tastings, twice this year, during the Tour de Gueuze and the first weekend in September during 3F's Open Beer Days.

Each tasting will have a number and will be repeated, i.e. the "Tour de Gueuze n° 2" tasting will be the same as the "OBD 3F n° 2" tasting.

This is a tasting for real lambic lovers who are just as happy drinking an old gueuze as a rare fruit beer. That's why I've decided not to reveal the bottles on offer. Maybe you'll like it... or maybe you won't but, hey, it's my birthday and I think it's more fun!

Each tasting will have its own route and its own logic. To whet your appetite, a bottle will be unveiled for each tasting to set the tone.

I'm also revealing here half of all the bottles that will be drunk (all tastings combined)*.

Of course, my passion for Cantillon beers is no secret, but you'll also find other gems in the tasting, including beers from 3F, Tilquin, etc.

Tickets are not nominative and are non-refundable (unless cancelled due to force majeure).

This tasting will take place onSunday 8 September 2024 at 6pm, in Moeder Lambic Original cellar.

*Of course, these are often old vintages and if one of the bottles does not taste properly, it will be replaced - this list is subject to change.
