Description
Ophion (platinum wax): This Imperial stout is our longest aged stout that we have released. Our 5th year anniversary beer started its journey in a Willet Rye barrel for 22 months before being transferred to a 6 year Willet Family Estate Rye barrel for an additional 18 months. The double barrel stout has been blended with a 16 month aged 10 year Willet Family Estate bourbon barrel. This adjunct free stout is our expression of dark beer and oak in its most basic form. A silky oily body meets bakers chocolate, hints of cherry, creamy vanilla, and fudge.
