Six (6) Bottles of Perennial Artisan Ales Maman. One each from the years 2015 thru 2020. 750ML 

-2015: Imperial Stout aged in Rittenhouse Rye barrels.

-2016: Imperial Stout aged in Rittenhouse Rye barrels. Know infection issues. Although there has been bottles know to be good, expect this bottle should be for collection purposes only.

-2017: Every year we set aside a few of our absolute best barrels of imperial stout to stand on their own, unadulterated and without adjuncts. We call this blend Maman, or the mother of our barrel-aged stout series. 2017 Maman was aged for 18 to 20 months in Rittenhouse Rye and Elijah Craig barrels before blending and packaging. It's our purest expression of beer in oak and presents a luxurious combination of cocoa, caramel, vanilla, and maple wrapped up with a big boozy bow.

-2018: Every year we set aside a few of our absolute best barrels of imperial stout to stand on their own, unadulterated and without adjuncts. 2018 Maman was aged for 12 to 14 months in Rittenhouse Rye and Jack Daniel barrels before blending and packaging. It's our purest expression of beer in oak and presents a luxurious combination of cocoa, caramel, vanilla, and maple wrapped up with a big boozy bow.

-2019: Maman 2019 is comprised of 3 vintages of spirit barrel aged stout ranging in age from 20-30 months. Layered with notes of bakers chocolate and bourbon soaked brownies, and clocking in at 15%. Drinking this beer reminds us of listening to Never Too Much by Luther Vandross and heavy bass lines from heady Coltrane tracks.

-2020: Maman 2020 is a blend of 2 distinct threads. The first consisting of base stout aged 22 months in Heaven Hill barrels, this comprises 80% of the blend. The remaining 20% is base stout aged 27 months on Weller barrels. We tasted through a couple dozen barrels to find a blend that best exemplifies our beloved barrel aged stout, Maman. Oak, maple, marshmallow, and caramel all dominate the aroma, with waves of rich brownie batter fudge and Heath bars wrap up the palate. We always strive for a balance of flavors in our beers, and we feel the nuance and surprising drinkability make this vintage of Maman something we’re immensely proud of.
