Sitting at 10.8%, this year’s vintage of Wooden Cleat is a blend of high gravity Barleywines extensively aged in Buffalo Trace Weller bourbon barrels.

Wooden Cleat was brewed with English heritage malt and underwent an intense double mash, followed by a 12 hour boil, eventually laying to rest in oak barrels for 20 months.

This beer was then racked out of oak and allowed to condition in stainless for another month prior to bottling.

Wooden Cleat pours a dark amber with chestnut brown highlights and brings forward rich malt notes complimented by molasses, dried dark fruits, and caramelized sugar with a full-bodied finish.
