Last year we filled a Willett b0urb0n barrel with our LADS base and gave it the LADS adjunct schedule of shredded raw coconut, marshmallow, Madagascar vanilla, Mostra Ghost Bear espresso blend coffee, and a touch of lactose. Pouring a thick jet black, aromas of fudge, coconut macaroon, vanilla frosting, barrel-derived marshmallow, and marshmallows soaked in bourbon waft up before cohesive and deliberate flavors of brownie batter, more ???? -soaked marshmallows, coconut caramel swirl and balanced coffee. The integrated flavors are smooth and luxurious offering a velvet like Rolo candy finish with a touch of oak. This could very well be our best batch yet.
1x Equilibrium / Trillium Soft Baked Oatmeal Squares (15%) After over 17 months in a Weller barrel, Barrel Aged Soft Baked Oatmeal Squares is ready to serve. Originally brewed in July of 2020 to celebrate Pete and JC’s mutual love for the morning breakfast bar and coffee, we conditioned this now barrel aged oatmeal stout on toasted almonds, Madagascar vanilla, Ghost Bear coffee from our friends @mostracoffee, Vietnamese Saigon cinnamon, and a touch of lactose. Viscous black with a creamy tan head, aromas of Cinnabon, almond brownie batter, and freshly scraped vanilla bean lead into flavors of decadent chocolate, brown sugar, snicker doodle cookies, marshmallow cinnamon roll, and fresh morning coffee.
1x Equilibrium / Trillium SLOW Baked Oatmeal Squares (15%) Aged for 25 months in a Willett Rye barrel before we added toasted almonds, Madagascar vanilla, EQ x Mostra Kinetic blend coffee, Vietnamese Saigon cinnamon, and a touch of lactose. Viscous pitch black with mocha foam and aromas of chocolate chip Cinnabons, almond cookie batter, and vanilla cream. Upon your first sip you’ll notice that this beer is a chocolate lovers delight with deep notes of smooth and velvety high-quality chocolate throughout. Distinct chocolate notes are laced with flavors of almond marzipan, marshmallow frosted cinnamon roll, perfectly extracted cold brew, and a touch of vanilla spice from both the balanced addition of cinnamon and the toasted rye barrel.
