(American IPA, 7%, 16oz) Every time we fire up the kettle, we’re mining for gold. We’ve been crafting recipes long enough that we know the beer’s color, flavor, and aroma long before we mash in. That being said, when someone dares you to break from tradition or manipulate a method, you have to step back and adjust your preconceptions. This is when it gets exhilarating: chipping away into unfamiliar territory and striking upon a Hidden Gem. Pouring a hazy orange color, this single IPA is a treasure trove of tropical notes. We used a novel combination of American hops in the kettle, and a massive charge in the dry hop. Notes of juicy mango and pine resin wash over the palate, while soft aromas of wild blueberries and ripe tangerine rise above its sticky head of foam. Enjoy!
