‘Oumuamua (2024) is a beer of patience and timing. We started with one of our Imperial Stout recipes and aged it in a single Bourbon barrel. Layers of chocolate from the base recipe were balanced with oak and spirit. After several intervals of tasting, we decided to transfer this beer at 12 months to finish in a single Willett Family Estate Bourbon barrel for an additional 14 months. This added even more depth and complexity to the resulting beer. This Imperial Stout aged for a total of 26 months. No adjuncts were added to this beer.
