Cherry Very Special Old Jacket : A blend of sweet and tart unfermented cherries accentuate a calvalcade of fruity malt characteristics in this two-years-aged monument to English Barleywine. A tandem of single origin, fire-toasted French oaks inserted into the bourbon barrels during aging provide bready, spicy aromatics remenicient of brioche and pie crust, and help each decadant sip finish long and dry. 12%
VSOJ 2024: A celebration of malt, oak, and patience, Very Special Old [Straight] Jacket is a cuvée of English Barleywines aged between two and four years in our favorite bourbon barrels embellished with single-origin French oaks. Lusciously sweet and colossally complex, V.S.O.J. is equal parts refinement and excess 14.4%
