We love our buddies down in Tampa Bay at a little brewery called Angry Chair Brewing. You may have heard of them. We're huge fans of one of their most sought after barrel-aged beers, Barrel-Aged Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout, so much so that nearly two years ago we brewed up a huge stout that shared threads from both of our base stout recipes, let it sit in a blend of bourbon barrels for 22 months and then decided to give it the GCCS treatment, with a little spice, literally, we added some cinnamon to the mix because coconut + cinnamon is just an unbeatable combo, add in marshmallow-forward vanilla and decadent chocolate notes and we have ourselves a winner.
