Samuel
One of our most treasured bottled offerings, Samuel is crafted with a base of buckwheat, spelt, and Vermont wildflower honey, which we then move to wine barrels with the optimism that Edward’s intrepid great-uncle’s namesake beer might emerge fully formed in its own time. Following nearly three years of patient and observant bottle conditioning, we offer another instance of this beer, worthy of Samuel’s name and inspiring memory.
Inspired by two of our favorite Farmstead® ales&mdashLe Sarrasin and Vera Mae&mdashour guiding aspiration is to harmonize each essential expression into a novel representation. Like so many of our Farmstead® offerings, this beer will continue to bottle condition gracefully for the next five (or more) years while unveiling new levels of aromatic and textural complexity.
