(New Zealand Style Double IPA, 8.2%, 16oz) The magic of terroir&mdashthe environmental conditions, especially soil and climate, in which hops are grown and give a hop their unique flavor and aroma&mdashcontinues to enthrall us at Tree House.
To illustrate the difference between region and growing conditions, we have begun the Many Ways series, which seeks to brew single-hop beers with hops sourced from specific growing regions and farms.
Part One contains Nelson Sauvin, grown exclusively by our friends at Freestyle Hops in the Upper Moutere region of New Zealand'sSouth Island. This is not your grandfather's Nelson: It exhibits the modern ideal of Nelson with notes of tropical fruit, passion fruit, and punchy citrus with a gentle bitterness on the finish. This beer is simply wonderful in concert with Tree House’s unique house character.
We hope you enjoy it and compare it to other entries forthcoming in the series!
***I provide white glove service from the time the cans leave the brewery, up to the time that they are dropped off for you. And now, I am proud to offer EXPRESS SHIPPING via FedEx -- meaning your order will get to you in 2 business days or less (for roughly 92% United States coverage). $18 gets you 12 cans shipped, and only $0.50 per can after that (maximum 24 cans per order, per box).
